On Wednesday, the joint order that establishes rules on the authorization, organization and operation of vaccination centers against COVID-19 was approved.

According to the document, the centers are established by order of the Minister of Health, at the proposal of the Bucharest and County Public Health Directorates, and will be organized in various ways, respectively: fixed vaccination centers; mobile vaccination centers: caravans or other mobile formations, belonging to the Ministry of the Interior – Department of Emergency Situations and / or the Ministry of National Defense, respectively to the structures subordinate to them; mobile vaccination teams, for vaccination in specific places; drive-through vaccination centers for large cities for the general population; at the level of the family medicine office, as the case may be, depending on the epidemiological evolution and the type of vaccines available.

The normative act stipulates that the public health directorates of the county or Bucharest temporarily approve the operation of the vaccination centers, according to their own methodology, from the documents presented by the owner / administrator of the space and after evaluating the endowment of each center .

The vaccination centers belonging to ministries with their own network will be organized and approved by their own structures, complying with the legal requirements.

The vaccination will be carried out by medical personnel, with valid free practice notice, issued by the College of Physicians and / or medical personnel who hold a valid certificate issued by the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses in Romania (OAMGMAMR).

Each vaccination center will have a coordinating doctor and will be organized according to the unidirectional circuit (unidirectional flow, without intersection). All vaccination centers (fixed or mobile) will be attended by medical teams made up of a doctor and auxiliary medical personnel.
