When schools in Romania could reopen. Prime Minister Orban’s response

“After May 15, it is possible to reopen their schools … on May 20, May 25 … When the epidemiological context allows us, according to the analyzes we have.

The opening of schools depends on how the dynamics of infections evolve and what we do to minimize infections, “said Ludovic Orban, in an interview with Digi24.

According to the Prime Minister, there are also intermediate, gradually reopening variants of schools. “We also have full classes. We are considering the gradual opening of schools. Here, the Minister of Education, together with the specialists, is working on different options and we will be prepared for any situation,” added the head of government.

He inferred the option to postpone the school year, or not to organize exams.

“Our goal is for all students to complete this school year. The achievement of this goal and the ways in which exams will be organized, the ways in which all these exams will be prepared will depend on the epidemiological context. It is a variant in which all courses and all classes can be completed online and even the exam can be taken online, it is possible to take the exam under other conditions.
