“The quarantine is established at the proposal of the DSP, if certain criteria that must be met are met. Several localities decided to go into quarantine by decision of the Provincial Emergency Situations Committees, others opted for additional control measures, pending the imposition of the quarantine status. We are not imposing it from the center at this time, but the decision is made locally by the DSPs, with the approval of the INSP and the decision of the CJSU, after the order will be signed by me and published in accordance with the legal provisions, “he said. . Raed Arafat at Digi24.

Asked about the results of the measures already imposed in the Capital, Arafat said: “At this moment we can say that we no longer have that exponential growth that was, we are somewhere on a plateau, with some increases and decreases. He added that the authorities will take 30 days to determine if the measures taken had the expected effect:

“If not, additional measures should be extended or taken,” he added.
