Vlad Voiculescu, the proposed deputy mayor of the Capital, declared for Europa FM that he will discuss with Nicusor Dan today about the entry of Bucharest into quarantine for COVID-19.

“We have almost 10,000 cases in the last seven days. The ATI sections are full. If this continues, the quarantine request will certainly have to be considered. Today I will have a discussion with the mayor general,” he told Europa FM.

In the last 24 hours, Romania has passed the threshold of 200 deaths, and 213 people lost their lives as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 infection. Another 1,276 people are hospitalized in ATI.

As of Tuesday, 524,675 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania, and 416,797 patients have been declared cured.

In the last 24 hours, 7,439 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 were registered.

On Tuesday 1,946 new cases were reported in Bucharest, the capital had a contagion rate of 6.56 per thousand inhabitants.
