Vlad Voiculescu, proposed by USR PLUS for the post of Deputy Mayor General of the Capital, blocked the competitions organized to cover administrative positions in ASSMB: “It is 12 o’clock; politicization in health institutions must stop ”.
“We filed complaints against competitions organized quickly after the elections, to cover administrative positions in ASSMB, the entity that manages the hospitals subordinate to the City Council. Many of the people named without competition to head the institutions subordinate to the Capital City Council by Gabriela Firea thus tried to strengthen their positions: it is much more difficult to be dismissed after winning the contests. All the contests began on October 7 (a week after the elections) and those disputed by me on Friday were suspended, “writes Vlad Voiculescu on Facebook, reports Mediafax.

He believes that politicization in health institutions must end.
“We are in the middle of a pandemic and we need to be sure that the people who run things are as competent as possible, not hired for the last hundred meters by the corrupt administration of Gabriela Firea. It is 12 o’clock that the politicization of health institutions must stop. I will not make or accept a single political appointment in the areas that I will coordinate. We need a profound reform of the ASSMB and the management of the hospitals and bring them into the 21st century. I hope to be able to do so, once I take over as deputy mayor and the functions. I hope it doesn’t take long, ”concludes Voiculescu.
