A man and a woman, both 75 years old, died between Friday night and Saturday in a fire that broke out in the town of Andrei Șaguna, Arad County, due to a short circuit in a defective refrigerator.
Two teams from the Arad Fire Brigade intervened in Andrei Șaguna to put out a fire in a house.
The fire was noticed very late, being announced on 112 by the neighbors, so when the intervention teams arrived, it became widespread throughout the construction, according to Mediafax.

After firefighters managed to enter, two victims, a man and a woman, both in their 75s, were found dead.
The fire was extinguished after about two hours of intervention.
