The construction of approximately 3-4 meters high “rose”, without any explanation, on the Bâtca Doamnei hill of Piatra Neamţ, having one of the facets oriented in the direction of the Ceahlău mountain. For fans of stories about the alien world and for superstitious people, the story is very exciting. Especially since near the hill are the ruins of the Dacian fortress Petrodava. However, between UFO and artistic creation, specialists prefer the second option.
In the assent of those who believe that everything is an artistic manifesto were the American officials who discovered the object in the desert of Utah. Although they joked about the possibility of reaching the “mothership”, they thought of a rational explanation. And Stanley Kubrick’s film 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) could have been an excellent source of inspiration for the authors.
The authorities of Piatra Neamţ still do not know who is responsible for the metallic object discovered in the Mioritic lands.
“We have started to investigate the strange appearance of the monolith. It is located on private property, but we do not yet know who the owner is. It is a protected area, part of an archaeological site. (…) Before installing anything here, the permission of the institution is required, and the request must be subsequently approved by the Ministry of Culture, ”said Rocsana Josanu, according to the Daily Mail.
