UCL: Zenit – Borussia Dortmund, Tuesday, 19:55, Digi Sport 1
The match was interrupted after 20 minutes after protests by the Turkish players against the substitute referee, Sebastian Colțescu.
Following his instructions, center-back Ovidiu Hațegan gave a red card to a member of the Istanbul Başakşehir squad. This is Pierre Webo, a former Cameroonian striker who ended his career in Turkey.
He claimed that Colțescu insulted him and that is why he reacted nervously. The Turks demanded an explanation and, after removing Webo, left the field.
According to journalists, Colțescu used an inappropriate expression when referring to the staff member to be sanctioned. He was referring to the “black man” when he pointed to Webo, words that outraged the Istanbul Bashashehir.
Former Chelsea player Demba Ba is the one who realized that the Romanian referee’s comment may have a racist character and pointed it out to his teammates.

Hațegan stayed to consult with the UEFA observer. The PSG players sympathized with their opponents, but then announced that they want to continue the game.
If the Istanbul team refuses to return to the field, they risk losing the match at the green table.
