While in Focsani, where he attended a meeting with all the county mayors on government investments made and financed by the National Investment Company and the National Local Development Program, Ionel Dancă, head of the Chancellery of Prime Minister Ludovic Orban, did not miss the opportunity to and campaign a bit. He is running for an eligible MP seat in Vrancea, representing the PNL, and on Saturday afternoon, accompanied by several liberals, he headed to the city’s main agri-food market. Like all politicians in the campaign when they arrive at the market, Dancă wanted to make a good impression by buying agricultural products from traders’ tables, and at one point came face to face with Vrancea PSD MP Nicuşor Halici, the president of the Legal Commission. Deputies, and also the first deputy candidate in the county. A real scandal arose between the two by the closure of the markets, Dancă rushed to Halici and reproached them for having misinformed the population.
„Dancă: -Are you afraid that the market will close? Come on tell the people!
Halici: -Tell them!
Dance: -It is written in the government decision and in the emergency ordinance: in the open spaces the markets remain open. Tell people the truth. Go out and tell them lies and scare them.
Halici: -Do you know what category this market is, if it is closed or open?
Dance: -It’s open. It has only a small closed portion. Only the dairy portion is closed.
Halici: -Isn’t the dairy portion also a market that should be left open? How is the supermarket?
Dance: -In the supermarket there are much larger spaces, there are separate circuits for entry – exit of buyers, disinfectants, thermal scanners, air ventilation. Stop lying to people.
Halici: -You have destroyed these people. You borrowed as much as PSD borrowed in four years. “
The contradictions between the two continued in the same high tone, and the president of the Vrancea City Council also entered the discussion, who reminded Halici that he is among the promoters of the compensatory recourse law that favors criminals.
Everything happened under the gaze of the people and the merchants gathered around him.
Later, Dancă made a post on Facebook in which he wanted to refute once again the rumors spread in the public space about the closure of all agri-food markets.
“The PSD propaganda machine scared the world because all the agri-food markets are closing. Congressman Halici told people that the markets would close. I asked him to tell me in what regulatory act is such a thing foreseen and he said no You know exactly the content of the Government Decision. I told you not to lie to the people anymore, because the markets in the open spaces will continue to work, they will not close. The same will happen in Vrancea: in no town in the county do the markets that operate in open spaces are not closed ”, Ionel Dancă specified.
