FC Botoșani and Astra tied, scored 1-1, in the 13th round of League 1.
The Moldovans had the first dangerous chances of the game. First, Lazar bounced off the crossbar a ball fired hard by Jonathan Rodríguez. After 20 minutes, Lazar sent a free kick high over the penalty area.

FC Botoșani have not won in League 1 for a month and a half, 2-1 with Gaz Metan Mediaș on October 23. Since then, four more rounds have been played, with Marius Croitoru’s team registering two defeats, with UTA and FCSB, and two draws, with the University of Craiova and Sepsi.
In contrast, Astra, a team with a very poor start to the season, managed to recover in the final rounds. The team led by Eugen Neagoe is undefeated in the last three stages of the championship, 1-1 with Dinamo, 1-0 with Hermannstadt and 0-0 with Chindia.
Before the 13th stage, FC Botoșani are 11th in League 1, with 13 points, while Astra is still on the decline, in 15th position, with nine points.
