Academic Clinceni Y Astra they drew score 1-1, in round 25 of League 1.
Ilfov had the first dangerous chances of the match and Adi Popa managed to open the scoring late in the first half, with a powerful shot from 16 meters that left Lazar unanswered.
Giurgiu had the first chances in the second half. Wuthrich failed that he could not defeat Vâlceanu from a few meters. Krpic’s opportunity followed, which was resumed with a header sent from the corner, but the Clinceni goalkeeper retained.

In his 15 years he had a turbulent history. It was CS Buftea at first and was promoted to 2nd League in 2008, but then gave way to Săgeata Stejaru. After which he was promoted again to Second League in 2012.
It became FC Clinceni in 2013 and then Academica Argeş, when it moved to Piteşti. After a year, he changed his name again to Academica Clinceni, returned to Ilfov and rose to League 1 in 2019, with a budget of around 500,000 euros!

He is the representative of the smallest community in Romania present in League 1. Clinceni has around 5,000 inhabitants.
