USR-PLUS co-chair Dacian Cioloș says his party does not intend to negotiate with the PSD any ruling majority, with the prospect of forming a coalition for the government.

“The Romanians have not given any party a clear mandate to form only the government. We will deal with a coalition government.

We will participate in discussions for the formation of a ruling majority.

Our point of view is clear: USR-PLUS does not intend to negotiate any ruling majority with the PSD.

We believe that we can build a reformist and modernizing majority in Romania with political forces that have such objectives, ”said Cioloș, following the result of the exit poll of the parliamentary elections.

“It is a historic event. We have doubled our presence in Parliament. This time, USR-PLUS will not only be the main opposition force on Parliament’s agenda, but as things stand now, USR-PLUS is the party. that will determine the agenda for the future. Government, and this is going to be modernized, “Cioloș also told reporters present at the headquarters of the political party.
