The USR-PLUS deputy, Emanuel Ungureanu, harshly criticized President Klaus Iohannis this Thursday, after the head of state asked the Minister of Justice to explain how the situation of the presentation of the file on August 10 was reached. “Perverse, PSD-style,” says Ungureanu, who believes that Iohannis is directly responsible for filing the case.

“Romanians have every right to know who is guilty of acts of violence against peaceful protesters. Things cannot end here and that is why I asked the Minister of Justice and the Minister of the Interior to find solutions so that the truth is discovered on August 10 and those responsible held accountable, “said President Iohannis, in a message posted on his Facebook page.
It should be noted that the case of August 10 passed to the role of the Bucharest Court in October 2020, when Cătălin Predoiu (PNL) was Minister of Justice. Stelian Ion (USR) was appointed Minister of Justice at the end of December 2020.
