Regarding the images that appeared in the public space regarding the damage to the road in VO Bacau that appeared after the traffic, CNAIR makes the following clarifications:

The representative of the institution also specified that the businessman decided together with CNAIR to start the road earlier.

However, it appears that the person who reported the incident was not the only unfortunate one.

The owner of the company who intervened in the drivers’ call for help says that he attended six interventions, in total, and in all cases the drivers had to change both wheels and tires.

“Of the six interventions we had, five drivers had to change both their rims and tires. On one of the cars, a new rim cost around 800 euros,” said Nastase Teodor, owner of the service. for the Observatory.

Last week, Prime Minister Ludovic Orban congratulated the builders who made the Bacau detour, as they announced that the section of track with a highway profile will be able to be given to traffic between November 27 and December 2, although the The deadline for the completion of the works was January 2022.

In addition, Transport Minister Lucian Bode boasts of the money the state paid for the Moldavian Highway. “I would like to clarify one more thing, because they accused us of financing this goal, of allocating very little money in 2020. The Moldavian Highway was inaugurated on December 2. The authorities have announced that, for now, traffic will be restricted to 90 kilometers per hour.

The works amounted to 668.33 million lei (excluding VAT), and the contractor that took charge of the execution of the road section was Asocierea Spedition UMB SRL – Tehnostrade SRL. The source of funding is represented by non-reimbursable European funds. The length of the entire work is 30,843 km and consisted of the construction of seven bridges, eight passages, a road junction, seven roundabouts and a small parking lot.
