Minister Marcel Vela, affirmed that 124 employees of the Ministry of the Interior have been infected only in the last 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, 9 police officers or other MIA employees have died.
“We will create a collection center for autoimmune blood and plasma, then we will create a plasma bank at Dimitrie Gerota Hospital,” was the announcement of the Minister of the Interior.
He thanked everyone who donated convalescent plasma after the MIA campaign.
Marcel Vela added that “both military and civilians will be able to donate to this center.”
“I am sure that it will be auspicious and that the two doctors, from the Prof. Dr. Dimitrie Gerota Emergency Clinic Hospital, who went through the nightmare of COVID-19, will handle this structure well,” said Marcel Vela.
