Twitter has changed the text that marks Donald Trump’s posts in which he lies or sends misleading messages about the result of the presidential election on November 3. The social network is now applying a message informing readers that Joe Biden is the official winner of the election.

Posts in which Trump makes such statements are now marked with the message: “Joe Biden has been officially validated as the winner of the United States presidential election.” Previously, Twitter would only flag posts with a message stating that they were potentially misleading or that they conveyed false or misleading information.

Twitter began flagging posts with the new message starting Saturday. Representatives of the social network said that the new label is intended to reflect the state of affairs according to the latest information.

Donald Trump continues to post messages daily questioning the integrity of the election and saying he won it, although there is no evidence of fraud, and lower court justices and the Supreme Court have rejected all attempts to overturn the election result.

Additionally, the Electoral College has already officially voted for the election of Joe Biden as president and Kamala Harris as vice president.
