Three hospitals in Bucharest will treat only patients with moderate and severe forms of COVID-19

Matei Balș, Victor Babeș and Marius Nasta hospitals will receive şme mengriji only patients with moderate and severe forms of COVID-19. According to Digi24 sources, this will happen from the moment of adoption of the order by which asymptomatic patients and patients with mild forms will be left only to the care of family doctors.

Digi24 journalist Carla Tănasie reports that this order would appear next week, as the draft ordinance has already been submitted to the prime minister.

An important change is that hospitals Matei Balș, Victor Babeș and Marius Nasta will receive only medium and severe cases. Another change shows that these hospitals will have radiological surveillance lines.

Patients with mild forms of coronavirus or asymptomatic will be evaluated, but in other centers and by appointment, not being considered emergencies. After this evaluation, they will return home and remain in solitary confinement for 14 days. During this period, they will be monitored by phone by family doctors.

In fact, a standard questionnaire for family doctors is currently being worked on, in order to more easily find out the health status of infected people.

This model could be adopted in other cities of the country, if the situation requires it.

Yesterday the prime minister He again advocated for the participation of family doctors in the evaluation of the health of patients who do not need hospital care. In addition, Orban asked the Ministry of Health to increase the testing capacity as well as the response capacity of the Public Health Directorates.
