Massacre at the Timisoara Zoo! All the kangaroos were killed Tuesday night by dogs that entered the animals’ habitat. Two of them were captured.
So we are talking about the 6 kangaroos housed in the zoo. Three dogs allegedly managed to enter the perimeter of the garden, then attacked and killed the wild animals.
The caregivers called the recycling company for help. His employees managed to catch a Rotweiler and a Cerman Shepherd.
Now it is being verified if they have a microchip, a situation in which the owners could pay for what happened. Most likely, the dogs jumped the fence because, according to the garden managers, there are no traces of cracks.
Călin Călămar, Specialist Inspector of the Timișoara Zoo: “They are a kind of smaller and normal kangaroos, the dogs are big, even if the shelter is big, they will run them, if there is a master, they certainly will not go and say that these are my dogs.”

It remains to be seen whether or not the area is in the area covered by the park’s surveillance cameras.

At the Zoo there is no night keeper to check the health and safety of the animals. There are only two local policemen, who are standing at the entrance, not patrolling, and on the night of the attack they heard nothing.
