Marcel Ciolacu was caught violating the health protection regulations imposed during the pandemic. The leader of the PSD was photographed sitting at the table in a pension restaurant, without respecting the distance and in the presence of 10 people, although the maximum number of people is 6, according to the law. The photos were taken on Saturday night, around 10:30 p.m.
After being fined, the PSD leader accused Ludovic Orban of using the Romanian police for political purposes.
Marcel Ciolacu explained that “Buzau County is on the green stage, that is why it is allowed to operate restaurants inside. Also, according to the law, it is not mandatory to wear a mask at the table. I had lunch with my family, and in that moment, several colleagues came to the table with us, I know this should not have happened for a few minutes. It is a rule that we all must follow.
