Prime Minister Ludovic Orban had a nervous breakdown on Wednesday at an election event in Arges, saying that the PSD, by amending the budget law in Parliament, “bankrupted Romania” through additional spending and, under these conditions, the state will not. could still borrow. The liberal leader said that the government will use all legal levers to prevent this burden from being budgeted, including the possibility of drafting another rectification bill.
“Today PSD, in two hours, has bankrupted Romania. In the budget, the finance committees, a majority of PSD, of 20 people who are in delirium, generated expenses of 6.3% of GDP through amendments to the budgetary rectification and, at the same time, to the proposal of the great financier Orlando, voted another amendment by which Romania can no longer borrow, because it reduced the maximum level of public debt from 47% to 40% of GDP.
They are crazy! If Parliament does not wake up and block this really stupid report, which is against Romania, Romania runs the risk of being downgraded by all rating agencies, without having the ability to cope with payments.
We will fight so that the report is not approved in plenary. I thank the partners of USR PLUS, PMP, UDMR, the minority group, who did not participate in this massacre of Romanian public finances that took place today in the Budget Commission.
We will request the referral to the commission in order to restore the report. If it is adopted, we will attack it in the RCC and change these provisions.
Romania does not need external enemies, because it has the most dangerous enemy, which is the PSD.
We will use all the constitutional and legal instruments that we have at our disposal, including a new rectification, to be very clear, ”Orban said.
