Ionuţ Anghel, the young IT specialist from the city of Mărăşeşti, died. that he suffered from a very serious illness and needed a lung transplant.

He fought the disease until the last moment, hoping that the Romanian state would help him perform a lung transplant that would give him the opportunity to raise his son. A year ago, Ionut received the news that he was included in the national transplant list.

A month ago, about a hundred people came to the Focsani civic center to support the cause of the young man from Marasesti who was breathing only with the help of the oxygen tube. Among them, Nora, Ionut’s wife, but also Matei, their 2 year and 8 month old son.

“I spoke with the minister, I spoke with Dr. Radu Zamfir, they all promise us. They promised us an agreement with Italy two months ago. The minister even said about Ionut that due to the immunological deficit he has a complex case and it is mandatory to make a transfer abroad. And in private I wrote to the minister. Beautiful words, promises and that’s all. Nothing changes. I am very afraid to call the emergency room, because I know that any virus that does not affect a healthy person can kill him. I try to divide all of them the days between him and the child and sometimes I feel like I’m breaking down, ”said Nora, Ionuţ’s wife, a month ago.

A few hours before he died, Ionut posted the following message on Facebook:

“What country … We live in a country where if a person has a disease that needs treatment or transplantation (in my case), outside the country, it is not very successful … It hits everything that has the ROMANIAN MEDICAL SYSTEM and all bureaucratic nonsense (which is also resolved immediately, in our country it takes weeks) and the people of the system who flee from responsibility …

I fight day and night in the hope that there will be a “tomorrow” and have said it several times, but “those above” have affirmed that I need help and that’s it. … Nothing concrete!

When I see what those who have been treated outside tell me, that there they are behaving with you as if you were theirs … Only when you hear “as with a MAN” … of them or not, for me it no longer mattered. Then the price is put in Life, it helps you, it does not let you go to the last phase to move, then, a file from there to there.

Do we need to “disappear” to end the problem and stop stressing anyone?

Little by little, we will run out of money for medicines and therapies … and then … God have mercy …
I hope those with the power of decision realize that we are literally dying every day, even if no one understands …

Why is it necessary that such tragedies always sound like alarm in this System? How many red flags are needed. We are already beginning to count them in two hands ”.
