The war of the roses. Alina Gorghiu demands responsibility from Raluca Turcan

On Wednesday night, on FB, Alina Gorghiu, a NLP senator, demanded a report from Raluca Turcan, newly appointed Minister of Labor in the Cîțu cabinet.

“I demand explanations from the Ministry of Labor for the delay in recalculating the allowances for former political detainees and their successors, in accordance with the increase made by Law 159/2019.”

The call written by Alina Gorghiu in a dry and authoritarian style has not yet received a response from Raluca Turcan.

Alina Gorghiu also attached an official document on FB that represents the institutional communication initiated by the liberal senator with Minister Raluca Turcan.

In the document that carries the head of the Senate, Alina Gorghiu asks the Turkish minister to present in detail the situation of the files presented by former political detainees for the recalculation of allowances.

“Taking into account the case presented, I respectfully ask you to communicate to me by each county, the status of the files presented in this regard, how many of them have been resolved, how many are under analysis and for how long,” writes Alina Gorghiu.

What governs the official correspondence with his colleague: “I await your response. Greetings, Alina Gorghiu, Vice President of the Senate.”

Turcan and Gorghiu succeeded each other in the leadership of NLP

Alina Gorghiu’s laudable concern for the financial situation of former political detainees may be justified. Politician. But the NLP senator knows well that the problem reported cannot yet be attributed to her colleague Raluca Turcan. He entered the ministry less than a week ago.

The offensive attitudes between the two liberals are well known in the party. Raluca Turcan is the one who replaced Alina Gorghiu in the position of president of the PNL in 2017.

And when one of them assumed the presidency of the PNL, the other opposed it. And vice versa.

Both hold important positions in the state. Gorghiu is vice president of the Senate and Turcan is minister. And one day ago, Alina Gorghiu’s husband was appointed by Prime Minister Florin Cîțu as his honorary adviser.

Tensions within NLP did not enter the holiday season. Every day MPs, MEPs, former Orban cabinet ministers and local NLP leaders hold a crossfire against Ludovic Orban, the prime minister, and now a minister.

Raluca Turcan installed his treadmill at the Ministry of Labor

The Turkish minister confirmed this Wednesday, exclusively for Antena 3, that he brought his treadmill to the ministry. He settled in the bathroom of the institution.

The head of the Ministry of Labor says she needs to do sports, because she works 16 hours a day in the ministry and wants to be fit and healthy.

Raluca Turcan had that tape installed at the Victoria Palace, for a year, when she was Deputy Prime Minister of Romania.
