Drastic punishment for an actor who caused a sensation a few years ago.
Florin Petrescu, alias Axinte de La Vacanța Mare, was sentenced to two years in prison with suspension.
In exchange for his freedom, he was forced to contribute money for the benefit of the community.
In a case opened eight years ago, the actor was investigated for influence peddling.
The indictment drawn up by DNA prosecutors in 2012 shows that Axinte was sent by Dan Diaconescu to argue with Florin Secureanu, the manager of Malaxa Hospital, about money and a “sponsorship” of the television channel OTV.
At that time, OTV broadcast a program with alleged financial irregularities at the Nicolae Malaxa Clinical Hospital in Bucharest.
Secureanu then denounced Florin Petrescu. The doctor accused Axinte of asking for 5,000 euros for an advertising contract with the former television station OTV.
Confessed everything
After eight years of hearings, Axinte would have admitted his facts before the judges. Likewise, the actor Florin Petrescu confessed that he regrets what he did during that period.
However, the punishment was not exempt. The decision was made by the Bucharest Court.
The court’s decision states:
“Condemns the defendant Petrescu Ion to the main sentence of 2 years in prison. Based on art. 91 para. 1 pen. Orders the suspension under supervision of the execution of the main sentence of 2 years in prison for a period of supervision of 2 years “.
At the same time, the magistrates have established a veil of obligations that Axinte must fulfill in order not to end up behind bars.
Therefore, Florin Petrescu must take into account several measures during the surveillance period:
- a) appear at the Bucharest Probation Service on the dates set by him;
- b) receive visits from the designated parole counselor with his or her supervision;
- c) announce, in advance, the change of residence and any trip that exceeds 5 days;
- d) communicate the job change;
- e) Communicate information and documents of a nature that allow the control of their means of subsistence.
Sent to work next
The plaintiff was forced to accept the sentence imposed by the court.
He was punished for doing community service.
Therefore, Florin Petrescu will sweep away, or plant thoughts, or take care of orphaned children.
This is what the judge determined:
“In accordance with art. 93 par. 3 of the Penal Code, the defendant Petrescu Ion will perform unpaid work for the benefit of the community for a period of 60 days, either in the Public Domain Administration and Urban Development Sector 6, or in the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Sector 6, Bucharest Probation Service will designate the institution where the convict will perform unpaid work for the benefit of the community. “
The judge drew his attention that if the plaintiff, during the supervision period, in bad faith, does not comply with the supervision measures or does not execute the imposed obligations, he will revoke the suspension and order the execution of the sentence, he will transmit viva.ro.
