The two fake dentists in Bucharest were arrested, the Capital Police announced on Tuesday night. According to the researchers, the two, a woman and a man, worked as a dentist in an office in Bucharest, during the period 2017-2021, without having the right to free practice.
The two were interrogated at the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Capital Police, along with other people, and at the end of the hearings they were detained.
On Tuesday, the capital’s police officers raided the premises of an unauthorized dental office, in a criminal case for crimes of deception and illegal exercise of a profession.
According to the researchers, without having the right to free practice, a woman and a man worked as a dentist in an office in Bucharest, during 2017-2021.
According to the Capital Police, they are also subject to crimes of bodily injury, falsification of official documents, falsification of official instruments and use of false instruments.
Investigators say that the two people, a woman and a man, allegedly practiced, in the period 2017-2021, in an unauthorized dental office in Bucharest, the profession of dentist. Thus, it would have misled patients, causing bodily injury as well as damage of approximately 60,000 lei. It was also learned that, without rights, the two people had also written prescriptions for medical treatments.
