After two weeks of hearings, investigators managed to arrest three people accused of killing and burning the 32-year-old girl found in a field in Giurgiu County.
The perpetrators are a 21-year-old man and two sisters, aged 26 and 30 respectively, who lived with the victim in a rented apartment in the Ferentari neighborhood of Bucharest.
Investigators then reached them, with the help of surveillance cameras, identified the car with which the body was transported.

Investigators reviewed a total of 668 cars captured by surveillance cameras in the area where the body was set on fire.
After carefully analyzing each frame and detail, they finally managed to find in the Ferentari neighborhood of the Capital the car that the three defendants allegedly used to transport the victim’s body.
This is a black sedan registered in Ilfov County belonging to one of the defendants. Now the car has been sealed and impounded by investigators.

Two women and a man, heard in the case of the woman set on fire on the side of the road, were arrested on Wednesday, reports the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Giurgiu Court.
The three suspects were detained in preventive detention and appealed the measure. They are currently being investigated for murder and desecration. According to investigators, the woman was beaten to death in a house in the Ferentari neighborhood of Bucharest. The suspects partially admitted, but the statements are contradictory.
According to some judicial sources, the man is a pimp and the other two women, sisters from Ferentari, practice prostitution. The murdered woman had the same occupation.
The four lived together, and the murder would have ended after misunderstandings arose in the house, reports the statement from the Prosecutor’s Office.
The suspects claimed at the hearing that the victim had drunk a toxic substance and that he had broken his ribs while trying to resuscitate her, according to judicial sources. But they could not explain why the victim was stabbed.
After seeing that she showed no signs of life, the three put the woman’s body in a bag and set it on fire on the outskirts of Ghimpați. Investigators also found the car in which the victim’s body was transported.
In the case of all three, criminal action was initiated for the crimes of aggravated homicide and desecration of corpses. The proposal for preventive detention will be presented to the court.
