The authorities opened this Wednesday the third stage of anti-COVID vaccination, aimed at all people in localities / municipalities with a cumulative incidence rate higher than 4.5 per 1,000 inhabitants. People who will be scheduled starting today will be vaccinated with the serum produced by AstraZeneca starting March 15th.
“In order to accelerate the vaccination campaign and limit the effects of the pandemic, starting today, March 10, Stage III opens for people in localities / municipalities with a cumulative incidence rate greater than 4.5 per 1,000 inhabitants .
In addition to the 21 existing flows for the administration of the vaccine produced by the AstraZeneca company, another 38 new vaccination flows will be opened for this type of vaccine, in the following municipalities and localities: Alba Iulia municipality (2) – Alba region, Municipality of Brașov (6) and town of Sâmpetru (1) – county of Brașov, county of Cluj-Napoca (13) – county of Cluj, county of Petroșani (2) – county of Hunedoara, county of Zalău (2) – county of Sălaj and Timișoara Municipality (14) – Timiș County. In the municipality of Giurgiu – Giurgiu region and Baia Mare municipality – Maramure region, the vaccination of people will be carried out through the existing flows, within the available places ”, transmitted the CNCAV.
According to the cited source, as of today 3,540 people can be scheduled in these offices, for a period of 10 days (March 15-24), and the vaccination itself will be carried out from March 15.
„Subsequently, the beneficiaries of the waiting lists will be scheduled, complying with the prioritization criteria, in accordance with the provisions of GD n. 12 of January 20, 2021 to modify and complement GD 1.031 / 2020 for the approval of the Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in Romania. We remind you that the waiting lists will be operational on March 15 ”, the CNCAV also shows.
The vaccination capacity of each office is 60 people per day.
The authorities recall that the ways of scheduling vaccination are: individually, through family members or through the social assistance departments at the municipal level, through the computer platform, the family doctor / caregiver, as well as through the call center or at the number 021.414.44.25.
