“My father took me to the agency, he took me by the hand, he saw the casting announcement in a newspaper, I was 14 years old, because I went through school because of many ills from my classmates being weak, tall … insults, blows . -I went to the principal’s office and he told me ‘that’s how children are, you understand’ (…)
I continued in the field for two years, I had my first presentation for Cătălin Botezatu, at age 15, and then I stopped because I couldn’t share school and fashion. At 23 I continued. The first time I went to Paris. Some photos from Bucharest were taken by a Korean company, and then someone from Paris saw me. I went there, I looked for work on model sites in Paris, I tried some agencies, I really liked them, but when I knocked on the door they told me that I was too late. They told me that if I had no hearing or something very different that would make me stop by the public.
It was not a disappointment for me. I was walking in the park, in Paris, and a team was taking photos, they were Romanians and I heard them talking about me. And I told them: you can tell me, I am Romanian, I understand. And they told me that they liked me a lot and if I want to be a model and go to Asia ”, said Larisa.
