The Senate on Monday sent addresses to the Ministry of Health and the Directorate of Public Health, through which the medical certificate that allows Senator Diana Șoșoacă to walk without a protective mask was verified.

In the address sent, the Senate asks the health authorities to verify if the diseases listed in the certificate are part of the category of “diseases that affect oxygenation capacity”, if the certificate was issued in compliance with legal competence and if the holder of said certificate “is exempt from wearing protective masks in closed public spaces.”

And Acting Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă, NLP senator-elect for Dolj, asked on Monday to verify the certificate invoked by Diana Șoșoacă, a senator from AUR, for not wearing a protective mask.
