Mircea Covătaru was 74 years old and, according to djstneamt.ro, his name is related to the beginnings of the wrestling section of the Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ Sports Club. In 1977, he was the department’s first coach to produce valuable athletes over time.

Mihai Cişmaş is a name “produced” by Mircea Covătaru and that in 1981 brought to Romania and the Ceahlăul club the bronze medal of the youth Europeans. Later, the same athlete, but legitimized in another club, managed to win medals in seniors, a silver in the Europeans, but also a silver and a bronze in the world championships, occupying a fifth place in the 1984 Olympic Games.
