According to the Capital Police, in a restaurant in sector 3, the police found that an unauthorized event was organized inside with about 50 participants. Following the intervention of the police, the act ended with fines of 11,500 lei.
Teams made up of representatives of the Police, Gendarmerie, Local Police, Inspectorate of Emergency Situations, National Veterinary Sanitary and Food Safety Agency, Public Health Directorate and the Bucharest Consumer Protection Commissioner checked more than 1,800 targets such as restaurants, terraces Saturday. , fast food and self-service places, but also 900 means of public transport.
More than 2,900 people were identified and approximately 680 people who did not comply with the individual protection measures were identified. These were sanctioned with fines of approximately 152,000 lei, and to economic operators organizing activities in the public / private / closed space for which interdictions / restrictions were imposed, the police applied fines of more than 27,000 lei. For other irregularities discovered by the control teams, fines of 94,000 lei were applied.
“The sanctions were imposed mainly for the non-use of protective masks, and in the case of companies for non-compliance with the minimum distance between meals, exceeding the maximum number of people at a table, non-compliance with the closing time of the activity and security food, and fire protection ”, transmitted the Capital Police.
Likewise, in another restaurant in sector 3, the control teams ordered the suspension of the activity due to deficiencies in the food safety line, after discovering 14 kilograms of expired food products.
