The number of patients in intensive care is increasing. A third of the tests were positive in the last 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours they have been 4,916 of new cases of Covid-19 of 15,701 tests carried out. Another 135 Romanians died after being infected with coronavirus. 1,260 patients are hospitalized in ATI, a new record.

To date, on December 2, in Romania, 484,550 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
371,231 patients were declared cured.

After tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 4,916 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The coefficient of accumulated infections at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the municipal and county levels of Bucharest. Below is the table prepared based on the reports received by CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:

Aside from newly confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 822 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 11,665 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 01.12.2020 (10:00) – 02.12.2020 (10:00) 135 deaths (84 men and 51 women) were reported, of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța, Dolj, Galați, Gorj, Harghita, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș, Olt, Pralaibiu, Săfo, Vascea, Timișlui Bucharest.

Of these, 2 deaths were recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 3 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 9 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 31 deaths in the age category age 60-69 years, 41 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 49 deaths in the category over 80 years.

123 of the deaths registered were of some patients who presented comorbidities, 7 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 5 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported so far.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 13,529. Of these, 1,260 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 4,137,893 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 15,701 were performed in the last 24 hours, 11,455 based on case definition and medical protocol and 4,246 upon request.

In Romania, 39,652 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home and 11,860 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 63,957 people are in home quarantine and 63 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 3,584 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 730 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on December 1 of this year, 6,081 penalties for minor infractions, worth 1,065,145 lei.

„We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions of health protection regulations can be notified. The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects ”, affirms GCS.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,914 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,936 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,056 in Germany, 167 in the Mar United Kingdom, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the USA, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 11 in the Republic of Moldova and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 127 Romanian citizens abroad, 32 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
