The program “Cronica Cârcotașilor” will be withdrawn from the station, after 20 years from the first broadcast, according to antena3.ro.

The decision was made in the context in which Prima TV was recently bought by Clever Media, a company owned by Adrian Tomșa, who also owns Look TV.

According to the directives of the new administration, Prima TV will focus on general and sports news, reports impact.ro.

Although the satire program Cronica Cârcotașilor established the television channel, being the most popular production on the Prima TV grid, the new patronage decided that it would disappear.

It is not yet known whether the Crónica Cârcotașilor program will move to another television channel.

The new Prima bosses have already had a discussion with Huidu and his team. Thus, the season already recorded will be broadcast, and later, the program will be permanently removed from the programming, announces the cited source.

It appears that Serban Huidu has two months to decide what to do with the employees and if he will try to continue the program on another television channel. Cronica Cârcotașilor has been broadcast on the same channel since its first edition, that is, 20 years ago, on April 14, 2000. In addition, the program is considered the emblem of the station, and Șerban Huidu was the star that established Prima TV.
