The woman detained in preventive prison after brutally attacking Cristina Joia, designer of the show “Turnkey Dreams”, wants to be released. In fact, she also challenged the decision for which she was sent to prison.
However, his fate will be decided by the Court, after the judges re-analyze all the evidence in the case: including the images captured by the surveillance cameras of the store where the attack occurred.
One minute and 30 seconds. That’s how long the violent scene lasts, captured by the store’s surveillance cameras.
Cristina Joia had entered the fruit and vegetable area, without thinking about the previous discussion, when she drew the attacker’s attention to the fact that she had parked illegally and had practically blocked access to the parking lot. She did not imagine that she would be brutally attacked.
The images clearly show the moment when the 34-year-old woman enters the same area of the store, takes three steps and attacks Cristina Joia. A single violent blow with the right hand was enough to cause the victim to fall to the ground and be seriously injured.
5 seconds later, the attacker left the store and disappeared, regardless of the victim’s condition. The employees were stunned. Cristina Joia began to bleed profusely and, although it was obvious that she needed help, a woman passed her, looked at her and left.
Later, a man, probably the security guard who had come out of the building, brought him some napkins to wipe his bloody face.
Alerted with calls to 112, medical and police teams arrived at the scene. Cristina Joia received care and was later transferred to the hospital, where she was operated. The police start doing the first investigations and this is how they see the images with the help of which the suspect was identified and identified.
The individual told them that she was not aggressive, but that she reacted brutally after Cristina Joia picked up the windshield wiper and offended her.
Arrested in pre-trial detention on Tuesday, and based on these terrifying images, and sent to the police detention center, the suspect in this case challenged the decision of the 4th district court. He even asked the rights and freedoms judges of the Bucharest Court to not keep it closed and allow him to be investigated for beatings and other types of violence in a state of freedom.
The decision will be made next Tuesday.
