The Ministry of Education and Research announced, on Friday, the approved scenarios, at the national level, for the start of classes. Thus, in 238 educational units, scenario 3 will be applied, with exclusively online activities, and in 7 units there will be mixed scenarios.
According to a statement from the MEC, the county / municipal emergency situations committees (CJSU / CMBSU) issued the decisions on the operating scenario of each educational unit, valid for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, following the proposals presented by the boards directives of educational units.
So, 12,610 educational units are included in scenario 1, with the daily (face-to-face) participation of all preschoolers and students, with compliance and application of all health protection regulations.
Other 4,892 educational units were included in scenario 2. It implies the daily (face-to-face) participation of all preschoolers and primary school students, students in grades VIII and XII, in the fulfillment and application of all protection regulations, respectively, partial return (by rotation of one two weeks) of students from other secondary and high school classes, in compliance and application of all protection rules.
At 238 educational units will apply scenario 3, with the participation of all preschoolers and students in online activities / lessons.
Too, 7 educational units were included in mixed settings (S2 + S3). This variant was approved taking into account the specific situations of each unit. Some of the units are in rehabilitation and others have particular medical cases in the classroom, so they require online learning ”, the statement shows.
The Ministry notes that, according to the analysis published on September 7 by the INSP, in 2,728 localities the number of cases of new diseases, confirmed in the last 14 days, is less than 1 per 1,000 inhabitants, in 410 localities it is between 1 and 3 in 1,000 inhabitants, and in 43 localities the number of cases of new diseases, confirmed in the last 14 days, is greater than or equal to 3 per 1,000 inhabitants.
We remind you that, in accordance with the joint Order of the Minister of Education and Research and the Minister of Health No. 5.487 / 1494 / 09.01.2020, the epidemiological criterion from which the educational units / institutions establish one of the three operational scenarios is the cumulative incidence rate, respectively: the total number of new cases in the last 14 days compared to the 1,000 inhabitants ”, is also shown in the MEC statement.
