The longest lunar eclipse in school XXI is coming! The Full Moon and the lunar eclipse will take place on the night of July 27-28, being the phenomenon extremely rare and spectacular.

The super-eclipse is fast approaching. Astronomer Bruce McClure said the lunar eclipse would last one hour and 43 minutes. According to the Tech Times, it will take around four hours for it to pass through Earth’s shadow.

The July eclipse will be 40 minutes longer than the bloody blue supermoon that occurred in January 2018. McClure estimates that the total lunar eclipse will include partial eclipses that will begin at 2:24 p.m. EST (9:24 PM, Moldova time) until 6:29 p.m. EST (01:29, Moldova time).

The 2018 Lunar Eclipse will be visible worldwide and will contain the specific colors of a “Blood Moon”.

This 2018 lunar eclipse will last for a long time due to the date it takes place. From July 27 to 28 (depending on where you are), both the Full Moon and the lunar peak will take place, when the natural satellite will be at the furthest point from Earth.

Therefore, these two phenomena occurring simultaneously cause an extended lunar eclipse. The longest duration of such a phenomenon can be one hour and 47 minutes. The duration of the total lunar eclipse on July 27, 2018 will be one hour and 43 minutes. The eclipse is fully visible from Romania in the early afternoon of July 27. The maximum moment of the total lunar eclipse takes place at 23.22.
