The polls published a few days before the local elections on September 27 give different opportunities to the main candidates. One NLP poll gives Nicușor Dan the winner, while another, conducted by IRSOP, shows that Gabriela Firea would score much better than her main opponent.
According to this poll, Gabriela Firea, the PSD candidate, would get 42% of the votes, while Nicușor Dan, supported by PNL and USR, is credited with 35% of the votes. Traian Băsescu (PMP) would obtain 15% of the votes, and Călin Popescu Tăriceanu (ALDE), 3%. With other candidates, 5% of Bucharest residents would vote.
Regarding political parties, PSD is credited with 26%, followed by USR, with 25%, PNL, with 21%, PMP – 8%, Pro Romania – 6%, ALDE – 4%, and other parties accumulate 10% . .
Percentages are calculated for respondents who said they would go to the polls.
The stake could exceed 45 percent, according to the IRSOP.
The survey was conducted by telephone, in a sample of 1,010 people, between September 21 and 23, 2020. The sample tolerance is +/- 3%.
Another poll, from NLP, gives Nicușor Dan the winner. He would get 42% of the voters’ votes, while Gabriela Firea would get 40% of the respondents, according to the poll. 9% would vote with Traian Băsescu, while 9% would vote with another candidate.
When asked how sure they are that they will go to the local elections, 55.6% of those surveyed are very sure that they will go to the polls, 34.9 are not sure and 9.5 say they are very sure not to vote.
This survey was also conducted by telephone, to 840 respondents, between September 23 and 24, 2020 and has a margin of error of 3.7%.
