Donald and Melania Trump unveiled this year’s Christmas portrait, their last as president and first lady. The image, immortalized Dec. 10 by White House photographer Andrea Hanks, was posted on Melania’s Twitter account, who impressed with a unique clothing choice, Daily Mail reports.

While 74-year-old Donald opted for a traditional tuxedo approach, his wife chose to approach the same clothing market in a very stylish way. The First Lady wore black pants with a silk band on the side and black high heels. Melania completed the look with a white shirt and a tuxedo jacket.
President Trump posed in the same classic tux for all of the couple’s Christmas portraits, while his wife was more creative about choosing her outfit. In 2017, for her first Christmas portrait of the White House, the First Lady wore an elegant black dress, a custom design from one of her favorite brands, Delpozo. Then in 2018, Melania chose a white dress with long sleeves.
The photo was taken on the same day as the Congressional Christmas party, which was held as planned amid the pandemic, as did several other official White House celebrations. The outfits the couple are wearing are likely to be the ones they chose for the holiday event.
The most recent portrait of the couple was shared just over two weeks after Melania revealed the holiday decorations, along with the chosen theme, “Beautiful America.”
This year, one of the rooms in the White House is dedicated to frontline workers and has been decorated with ornaments made by children from across the country.
