The infection rate in Bucharest rises to 6.13

The incidence of new cases of infections per thousand inhabitants, in the last 14 days, in Bucharest increased slightly, on Sunday, to a rate of 6.13. In Ilfov county, the same infection rate is recorded as yesterday (8.17), while in Sibiu county it drops to 8.62.

According to the data announced by the Strategic Communication Group, Sibiu continues in the first place of this negative top, with a contagion rate of 8.62 per thousand inhabitants, decreasing with respect to the previous day, when it registered 8.82 per thousand inhabitants.

Ilfov remains in second place, with an incidence of 8.17, and in third place is the county of Cluj, with an incidence of 7.06 per thousand inhabitants, decreasing with respect to Saturday, when it was 7.19.

Bucharest has an incidence of 6.13 per thousand inhabitants, increasing compared to Saturday, when it was 5.88.

A high infection rate is recorded in the counties of Brasov (7.01), Constanta (6.42), Alba (6.21), Arad (5.84), Timis (5.73), Bihor (5, 12) and Satu Mare (5.04).

The counties with the lowest incidence of infections per thousand inhabitants in the last two weeks are Gorj (1.67), Harghita (1.88) and Olt (1.91).

None of the country’s counties is in the green zone, which is an index of less than 1.5.
