The government will adopt this Monday the decision on the extension of the alert state, which will also contain the necessary health protection measures for the organization of local elections in epidemic conditions, Agerpres transmits.

In the context in which the Secretary of State in the Interior Ministry, Gheorghe Sorescu, announced that the project to extend the state of alert does not have the approval of the Legislative Council, Prime Minister Ludovic Orban showed that it will be discussed on Monday.

“If we do not have the approval of the Legislative Council, we will not be able to approve today. This means that on Monday we will have to hold the meeting of the National Committee on Emergency Situations and Government, so that we can adopt the extension of the alert. Ask the Legislative Council” . Orban said at the beginning of the government meeting.

The Secretary of State indicated that the draft on the extension of the state of alert was prepared and presented to the SGG, with all the opinions, to be sent to the Legislative Council to obtain the opinion.

“It contains all the measures established in the current regulations. (…) It also contains the necessary sanitary protection measures on the day of the vote on September 27,” added Gheorghe Sorescu.
