The government is considering changing traffic restrictions due to the increase in the number of new cases. Government sources assure that the executive would change the schedule from which traffic restrictions are applied during the night.
Thus, traffic outside the home will be prohibited from 10 pm instead of 11 pm. The time until which restaurants can operate will also change. And they will only be able to work until 10 at night.
The decision could be made on Wednesday, according to the sources cited. A decision from CNSU is needed, approved later in the government meeting.
Asked on Monday if the government is considering tougher restrictions, Cîțu replied: “We will analyze the situation, we will see the evolution and, depending on the evolution of the situation, we will propose measures. At the moment, these are the measures we have, we are implementing them ”.
