Iohannis said that the issue of markets has generated a lot of debate, but he believes that the measure taken by the Government is fair: “Not all markets are closed, only markets that operate in closed spaces are closed, where protection measures cannot be guaranteed. It is not an unlimited measure, it is limited in time. “

We are in the middle of a health crisis, the Government and the experts decide on certain measures, the PSD decides otherwise ”, Iohannis said, adding that problem management would be very complicated.
When asked if he would enact the law to keep markets open, Iohannis avoided a clear answer.

These measures are proposed by our experts. To see if they catch, we have to be patient. Some commented that the restrictions came too quickly, others that they came too slowly.
