On the night from Saturday to Sunday, the trains between the North Station and the Airport began to run, and the ticket costs 4 lei for the journey that lasts between 20 and 25 minutes. The first train was from CFR Călători and left Gara de Nord at 23.50, arriving at the station near the Otopeni arrivals terminal at 0.10. The first train leaves the airport at 0.30. It is the second railway line opened in three decades in Romania, after the 5 km between Golenți and the New Europe bridge near Calafat (put into service six years ago).

North Bucharest – Pajura (5.4 km) – Bucharest Triage Depot (8 km) – Mogoșoaia Park (11.1 km) – Mogoșoaia (13.1 km) – Connection with the airport T1 (16 km) – PO skating rink Stop (18, 2 km) – Henri Coandă T1 Airport (18.9 km). Trains that do not stop anywhere on the route take 20 minutes, those that will stop at Parc Mogoșoaia and Patinoar will make at least 23 minutes, but for now all trains travel the route without any intermediate stops.

The maximum speed that can be reached is 80 km / h, and on the Mogoșoaia – Racord section the limit is 100 km / h.

The short route
H Coandă Airport T1 – Skating rink (700 meters) – Airport Connection T1 (2.9 km) – Mogoșoaia (5.8 km) – Park Mogoșoaia PO (7.8 km) – Pajura (13.5 km) – Bucharest North (18.9 km). Trains to Patinoar and Mogoșoaia Park will probably take at least 28 minutes.

In 16 km of the 19 km the trains run on the M700 Bucharest – Urziceni – Brăila – Galați motorway, and from the connection from where the line separates to the airport there are 6 km to the Balotești stop, 4 km to the stop point from where they took the minibuses to the airport and 55 km to Urziceni.
