Mircea Rednic wants Ionel Dănciulescu in Viitorul

Rednic will lead his first training session at Club Constanta today, December 2, and he has already thought about the first moves he wants to make. Ionel Dănciulescu, his former student and collaborator in Ştefan cel Mare’s band, is the first man that the technician wants to bring Viitorul.
The former striker is also appreciated by the people who lead the team from the coast, so the chances of him joining Mircea Rednic at Viitorul are high. Dănciulescu and Rednic’s most important performance at Dinamo was the title in the 2006/2007 season, the last for Ştefan cel Mare’s team.

Mircea rednic was appointed, on Tuesday evening, in the position of coach of the FC Viitorul Constanţa, announced the League 1 club on its official website.
“As of today, Mircea Rednic is the new coach of FC Viitorul Constanţa, after signing a contract valid for the next 2 years and 6 months”, is shown in the declaration.
Rednic, 58, is one of the most appreciated Romanian coaches, winning two national titles, with Rapid in 2003 and with Dinamo in 2007. He also has a Romanian Cup with Rapid (2002), a Romanian Super Cup also with Rapid ( 2003) and the Azerbaijan Cup with Hazar Lankaran (2011).
FC Viitorul had parted ways with Spanish coach Rubén de la Barrera on Monday. The decision to terminate the contract with the Spanish coach came two days after FC Viitorul was eliminated from the Romanian Cup following the defeat suffered by FC Dinamo (0-3), in the round of 16 of the competition. In the championship, FC Viitorul occupies 7th place in the ranking, with 16 points after 11 stages.
Rednic was last active in Politehnica Iaşi, from which he parted ways at the end of the previous season.
