In Sălaj, 167 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The epidemiological situation in Sălaj County is as follows: 2,988 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic; 998 patients declared cured; 1,922 positive cases at present, of which 179 people hospitalized and 1,743 people with a positive test at home, who agreed to isolate themselves (monitored by the family doctor); 1044 people quarantined at home; 68 people died, registered since the start of the pandemic.
Among the county towns with the highest incidence rate are: Jibou – 10.23, Cehu Silvaniei – 9.71, Zalău – 8.33, Nuşfalău – 7.36, Mirşid – 7.27, Hereclean – 6.55, Someş-Odorhei – 6.37 and Sălăţig – 6.10.
According to the Sălaj Prefect’s Institution, between October 26 and 31, 4,058 people, 957 commercial companies, as well as 770 means of passenger transport were verified with respect to compliance with the imposed measures. For the violations found, the Sălaj police applied 361 sanctions for minor offenses, of which 358 for non-compliance with individual protection measures, two for non-compliance with quarantine or isolation measures, and a sanction was applied to an economic operator for organizing indoor activities, therefore prohibitions and restrictions have been imposed.
Another 112 sanctions, of which 111 for not wearing a protective mask and one for non-compliance with quarantine and isolation measures, were applied by the local police. The Sălaj gendarmes also found violations of this type and received 53 fines, most of them for failure to comply with individual protection measures.
The total value of the penalties is 124 250 lei.
