The Bucharest gendarmes applied, on Friday, after the spontaneous protest of the subway unionists, 23 penalties for infraction amounting to 125,000 lei.
“So far, the Capital Gendarmerie has applied 23 penalties for minor infractions worth 125,000 lei for non-compliance with the measures relating to the organization of public meetings in closed spaces, as provided in Law no. 55 of 2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the holding of the protest without authorization, a fact provided for by Law No. 60/1991 and non-compliance with sanitary measures, as also provided by Law no. 55 of 2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic ”, is shown in a statement from the Capital Gendarmerie, transmits Agerpres.
On Friday afternoon, subway traffic was still blocked by the spontaneous protest of some USLM union representatives at the Plaza Unirii station, who derailed and prevented the passenger trains from leaving.
