Prosecutors from the Public Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Superior Court of Cassation and Justice again arrested Vasile Lavric, known as the “eater of women.”
Local press reports that Radauti’s man was brought to hearings in Bucharest. The file is about a fourth missing woman. More precisely, the concubine of Vasile Lavric, with whom he also had children, Aurica Bodnărescu, seemed to have entered the land.
The story of the “woman eater”
The chilling story is 20 years old. The case has been open since 1995.
Vasile Lavric allegedly fell in love with three sisters from the Rădăuţi area, who disappeared from their home without a trace.
They are Iuliana Iordache, who disappeared in 1995, when she was only 16 years old, Nicoleta Iordache, 31, at the time of her disappearance, and Ramona Iordache, 18, both disappeared in 2005, three months apart.
According to the data collected by the researchers, Nicoleta was his wife, and Cu Ramona would have fallen in love when the girl was only 13 years old.
The mysterious disappearance of the 3 girls set investigators on fire for years. The main suspect was Vasile Lavric from the beginning.
But prosecutors couldn’t find enough evidence to put him behind bars. Then the man was released and married Aurica Bodnărescu.
From the information we have, she too disappeared from home and that’s why the investigators picked up Vasile Lavric to listen to him. Previously, searches were carried out at his home in Rădăuţi.
