With the approval of decree quater Ristori, which was published in the Official Gazette, comes the Christmas bonus. This is a one-time allocation of € 1,000 for a number of seasonal workers in the tourism, entertainment and spa sector, and € 800 for those in the sports sector.
The Council of Ministers has given the green light to decree quater Ristori, which also allocates 700 million euros to the 1,000-euro Christmas bonus for temporary workers in tourism, spas and entertainment. In addition, these funds will be used to fund the € 800 recognized, again in December, for sports workers.
In total, the decree has a value of 8 billion, most of which is used to defer taxes, with payments deferred until 2021. The decree will be combined with previous benefits, arriving at a single provision to help families and companies in need by Covid – 19.
The allocation of 1,000 euros is also valid for other categories
The decree provides for a new single payment of 1,000 euros for seasonal workers in tourism, spa and entertainment services affected by the epidemiological emergency. The subsidy is also valid for other categories: “Members of the Pension Fund for entertainment workers who have certain requirements, temporary workers belonging to sectors other than tourism and spas who have involuntarily terminated their employment, those who deal with the sale of homes “, according to Stiridiaspora.ro.
In fact, the bonus consists of a subsidy for workers in endangered sectors. As mentioned, it is aimed at tourism, spa and entertainment staff, as well as other seasonal workers, home sellers, who are self-employed without VAT and registered in the separate address of the INPS.
In practice, these are the March and April bonus categories of 600 euros, which were later renewed by the August decree and by the November Ristori bis decree. The bonus is given to those who are not retired, have no other job and do not receive Naspi.
