Presidential administration
The Parliament’s decision on the investiture of the Cîţu government was published in the Official Gazette on Wednesday evening and the ministers were sworn in at a ceremony at the Cotroceni Palace.
President Klaus Iohannis signed the decree appointing the Government of Citu.
The composition of the Government is as follows:
* Florin-Vasile Cîţu – Prime Minister;
* Ilie-Dan Barna – Deputy Prime Minister;
* Kelemen Hunor – Deputy Prime Minister;
* Alexandru Nazare – Minister of Finance;
* Lucian Nicolae Bode – Minister of the Interior;
* Bogdan Lucian Aurescu – Minister of Foreign Affairs;
* Stelian-Cristian Ion – Minister of Justice;
* Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă – Minister of National Defense;
* Claudiu-Iulius-Gavril Năsui – Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism;
* Virgil-Daniel Popescu – Minister of Energy;
* Cătălin Drulă – Minister of Transport and Infrastructure;
* Nechita-Adrian Oros – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development;
* Tanczos Barna – Minister of the Environment, Water and Forests;
* Cseke Attila-Zoltan – Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration;
* Cristian Ghinea – Minister of Investments and European Projects;
* Raluca Turcan – Minister of Labor and Social Protection;
* Vlad Vasile Voiculescu – Minister of Health;
* Sorin-Mihai Cîmpeanu – Minister of Education;
* Ciprian-Sergiu Teleman – Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitization;

The swearing-in ceremony of the members of the Government took place at 8:00 p.m., in the Cotroceni Palace.

Prime Minister Florin Cîţu declared this Wednesday, after Parliament voted for the inauguration of the Government, that he is aware of the responsibility that has been assigned to him in such a difficult period and that he will never deceive the expectations of the people who supported him.
“I thank the center-right coalition and everyone who voted for this government today. I thank the millions of Romanians who supported this coalition and helped us get to the Romanian Parliament today. I promise and guarantee that I will never disappoint your expectations. People and I am aware of the responsibility that I have been given to govern Romania in such a difficult period. Thank you for your work! “said Cîţu in the plenary session of Parliament.
260 deputies and senators voted “in favor” of the list of ministers and the government program, and 186 were “against.”
