The Iași Court has admitted that it is illegal to suspend face-to-face teaching activities in schools, announces the Association of Private Schools, according to Mediafax.

The Association of Private Schools requested the partial nullification of Decision No. 76 / 04.11.2020 of the Iași Emergency Situations Committee, respectively, of the articles that provide for the suspension of face-to-face teaching activities in schools.

On Thursday, the Iași Court admitted the request to cancel some articles.

“The court admitted as ILLEGAL the provision by which face-to-face teaching activities were suspended in educational units,” transmits the Association of Private Schools.

At the same time, on November 25, the first quarter of the process will take place in which the Association of Private Schools requested the annulment of the provisions of the ministerial order and the decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations to suspend face-to-face teaching activities in all schools in Romania.

“We understand to contribute to the improvement of the epidemiological situation in our country, we understand that the measure of suspension of face-to-face courses is a measure that is necessary in certain situations, but we do not understand why such a measure is adopted without serious analysis. such a measure in general. Perhaps children from kindergartens, small elementary schools, and senior classes could have come to school. Perhaps schools in low incidence areas could have worked. Perhaps in the future we can put education where it has its place in Romanian society ”, is the announcement of those of the Association of Private Schools.
