The Emergency Situations Committee will meet on Monday, November 2, in a meeting to decide whether the schools in the Capital will remain closed for the next 14 days. The CSU will establish the operating mode of all educational units that are currently under the red scenario.
According to a press release sent by the Press Office of the Bucharest School Inspectorate (ISMB), following discussions with representatives of DSPMB, on October 30, 2020, the cumulative incidence rate calculated at 14 days of the diseases of the SARS CoV-2 was NOT low below the value of 3 per 1000 inhabitants.
“Considering the current epidemiological situation, ISMB proposed to the Institution of the Prefect of Bucharest the convocation of the Committee for Emergency Situations, on Monday, November 2, 2020.
In accordance with Joint Order MEC-MS no. 5487/1494 / 08/31/2020 and in accordance with the DSPMB’s recommendations, the Emergency Situations Committee will decide the operating scenario of the educational units for the next 14 days ”, the statement shows.
The capital has a contagion rate of 3.78 per thousand inhabitants
According to the balance of the last 24 hours, Romania registers the highest number of daily infections since the start of the pandemic: 6,546. Another 4 counties enter the red scenario after exceeding the infection rate of 3 per thousand inhabitants: Arad, Sibiu , Mureș and Bihor.
The capital again registers the highest number of diseases (900), with an infection rate of 3.78 per thousand inhabitants, while Timiș County (406) exceeds the threshold of 400 infections. Two other counties exceed the threshold of 300: Iași (334) and Dolj (311).
